COG is on pace to grow our sales volume by 50% in 2023, a year in which the residential transaction count across our Boston market is down 25%. I’m proud of our young and dedicated team. Are you sold on creating Real Estate video content to serve your network?
Two years ago, we made a commitment to produce “film quality” videos daily. So, we hired multiple videographers to join our in-house marketing staff. The ratio of marketing to salespeople within our firm is virtually unprecedented, but the value they bring has catapulted us ahead.
The internet tells us that only 9% of real estate agents create listing videos, even though listings with video drive 403% more inbound inquiries. We’re looking to do more video going forward and think agents may be doing themselves a disservice if they haven’t bought in. If you’re looking to join our team you should be ready to jump “on-set” any time and expand your reach with this 21st century tool.
Are we a team or a brokerage?
We get this question a lot… Our approach to real estate sales is intended to be different.
We are a boutique brokerage that operates as a cohesive unit with a culture driven by our commitment to learn, share and be together. Our marketing and video program is robust with an in-house team of 4 full-time employees ready to serve our sales agents every day. So, while agents have their unique business pursuits, that doesn’t mean they should feel isolated or unsupported. Sure, you can rely on a tech platform or an app to push your business or you can lean into a TEAM that operates strategically and with custom solutions for every challenge.
Do you fit the mold of who we are looking for next?
As we head toward year-end, we are working to add more sales talent to the team.
The notion within our group is that we can each have a specific focus on hyper-local areas (i.e. Back Bay, South End or Charlestown or Wellesley) as individual agents but remain deeply valuable to our clients when we can assist them with great insider knowledge from our collective team as they explore areas outside our core competency. The theory is that developing a niche, and sticking to it, leads to a level of concentrated excellence that is difficult for competitors to match. Specifically, we’d love to talk to you if you are someone who has deeper levels of knowledge in Somerville, JP, Newton and Brookline (among other areas within 15-20 miles of downtown Boston).
