Dine Out Boston: Our Selection for Summer 2018 | By Rachel Bakish

Twice a year Dine Out Boston, formerly known as Restaurant Week Boston, gives diners the option to indulge in three course tasting menus at participating
restaurants all around the city. The festivities started last week and carry on through August 17th. Here’s a sampling of restaurants in our core coverage
areas. Make reservations ASAP to take advantage of their deals this week or simply keep this list handy for future reference.

Back Bay

Bistro Du Midi

With tables overlooking the Boston Common, Bistro du Midi features French bistro cuisine with coastal New England influences. Visit for lunch or dinner
to take part in a multi-course dine-out experience.

Davio’s

One of the city’s best northern italian steakhouses, and personal favorite of our own @Alice_Markson,
(“Farro Salad with Salmon, please”) Davio’s extends beyond the standard offering of a Dine Out lunch and dinner menu to include a brunch menu on Sundays
as well.

Lucca

A lesser known Italian gem located next to the Prudential Center. Lucca’s is offering an extended Dine Out Menu which, for a small upgrade, allows
for their whole menu to be part of the Dine Out tasting menu experience.

Beacon Hill

No. 9 Park

Enjoy an intimate setting, signature views of the the Boston Common, and Chef Barbara Lynch’s refined cuisine for dinner. Their Dine Out menu showcases
regionally-inspired Italian and French dishes with an emphasis on simplicity and flavors.

Toscano

Forget the North End. This Tuscan style restaurant, puts Beacon Hill on the map for Italian cuisine. Especially delightful in colder months, this
is always a top pick in the middle of Charles Street’s boutiques. They are serving lunch and dinner menus for Dine Out Boston.

Scampo

Although they are serving their Dine Out Menu for Lunch Only, Scampo pairs simple, rustic food, with chic Italian design in the Liberty Hotel. With
the Salt and Pepper bridge finally open, it’s
a good time to get back into Scampo.

Downtown Crossing

Pabu

Tucked in on the fourth floor of Millennium Tower, this hip new resto feels like the place to be on any night of the week. A modern izakaya + sushi
bar by Chefs Michale Mina and Ken Tominaga, Pabu is participating with a Dine Out dinner menu.

Boston Chops

Taking the place of the almost forgotten Mantra nightclub, this downtown location of the acclaimed Boston Chops was one of the city’s most exciting
openings in 2018. Until the 17th you can come check it out, with the Dine Out tasting menu for either lunch or dinner.

Serafina

For Boston’s business elite, Serafina is a “go to” within the Financial District. Serving Italian fare day and night. They are serving a dinner menu
for Dine Out Boston.

South End

Boston Chops

The original location of the urban steak bistro, which has just opened a second location in Boston’s Financial District is serving a dinner menu for
Dine Out Boston. Pro tip: If you’re in the mood to watch a game, sit at the bar and ask them to turn on the TV. The televisions magically appear out
of the bar, but only when asked.

Cinquecento

Cinquecento features Roman style cuisine, utilizing simple and fresh ingredients, and boasts a 100% Italian Wine list. Complimentary Parking will
be available to all dinner guests during the Dine Out Boston event.
