Halloween Events Worth Howling Over | By Rachel Bakish

You can find exciting trick-or-treating all over our great state. However, in Boston, Halloween isn’t just for humans. So, if you are looking to have a
yappy Halloween, these events are for you. There are sure to be pups from all your favorites, whether it be Barking Bad or the Wizard of Paws.

8th Annual Canine Promenade CANCELLED

The Canine Promenade is a dog fair, with a 1/2‐mile Halloween costume parade around the Esplanade, that ends in a contest. Winners will receive gift
baskets that are sure to please pets and people alike. These baskets will be awarded to the Top 3 in both the Individual Costumes and Group Costumes
categories. Winners will enjoy gift cards to some of Boston’s finest restaurants and toys your pups will love. Tickets are $20 per canine, but humans
can spectate for free!

Seaport’s Howl-o-ween Costume Party 2018!CANCELLED

Spend the afternoon in the seaport with host Joy Lim Nakrin of NBC Boston! The Seaport’s Howl-o-ween Costume Party will award prizes for Best Costumes.
While they have not revealed what this year’s offerings will be, last year’s attendees won lavish prizes like dinner for four, or a stay at the host
hotel! There are also new activities this year including: cornhole, warm apple cider, bocce, pool and festive arts & crafts. This event is free
for all!

Halloween Pet Parade

This classic parade around Faneuil Hall Marketplace has been a staple in Boston for years. Walk your pup down the red carpet in front of a panel of judges
for an opportunity to win prizes in these categories: Best of Show, Best Owner & Pet Combo, Most Creative, Spookiest, Best Group and Best Local
Representation. The parade starts at 12:00 pm and ends in the costume contest. Prize baskets will feature gift cards and goodies from Faneuil Hall
Marketplace merchants. This event is free for all!
