Fisher Hill

Find your Fisher Hill niche area to explore.

OVERVIEW

Perched on a hill just south of Beacon Street and north of Boylston Street (Route 9), this area offers historic homes with stunning views of Boston. Many residences in Fisher Hill date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, filling this area with a mix of Victorian, Colonial, and Tudor-style homes. While most of Fisher Hill retains its historic charm, a few high-end luxury homes and townhouses have been added in recent years, blending modern amenities with classic Brookline sophistication.

Exploring Brookline with Claire McClintock: Fisher Hill

Today, if you want to move to Fisher Hill, you can expect to pay $2M on the low end for a home that’s going to need a lot of work, all the way up to $10M+

Fisher Hill happens to be Claire’s little corner of Brookline, so if you have any other questions, she would love to hear from you, reach out.

Evolving Landscapes Fisher Hill

Formerly the site of Cardinal Cushing and Newbury College, a five acre parcel at the crest of the namesake hill is now a luxurious senior housing development that opened its doors in late 2024. The large new buildings bring new life to what had become a tired campus after the enrollment from Newbury College steeply declined.

Across the street from the Newbury, the decommissioned Fisher Hill Reservoir was transformed into a community park in 2016. This beautifully landscaped green space offers residents walking paths, open fields, and a small playground.
