The 2021 Holiday Season: Boston’s Holiday Markets | By Rachel Bakish

Still Looking for the perfect holiday gift? Boston’s festive winter holiday markets pop up across the city during late November and December, bringing lots of artisan gifts and holiday cheer.

Here are some of our favorite holiday markets for you to visit:

Snowport

November 19 – January 2

Seaport’s popular European-style Winter Holiday Market at Snowport returns! The market will feature 100+ small businesses selling art, jewelry, home goods, apparel, and other gifts and crafts, plus seasonal treats such as hot chocolate, freshly-made waffles, craft beer, and more.

Free and open to the public.

SoWa Winter Festival

550 Harrison Avenue
December 3 – 12

‘Tis the season for the 6th annual SoWa Winter Festival.

From December 3 – 12 enjoy everyone’s favorite holiday festival in Boston. Shop from 100 of the region’s best makers and specialty food vendors in the SoWa Power Station which is transformed into a local and unique marketplace. You’ll find handmade gifts, sip on winter cocktails, and discover the best of the SoWa Art + Design District. While you stroll, savor our favorite winter cocktails, seasonal craft brews and wines!

Harvard Square’s Holiday Fair

St Paul’s Church Hall (29 Mount Auburn Street)
Dec 7-8, Dec 13-15, Dec 19-22

Stroll through carefully selected sellers from all over New England and the world.  Look for handmade, beautifully crafted gift items.  For example, you might find photography, hand-made clothing, artisan chocolates, olives and olive oil from Greece, LED-lit jewelry plus every other type of jewelry you can imagine, wooden utensils, pottery, West African crafts, glass art, candles, honey, mobiles, and lots, lots more.  Not each vendor will be there each day, so you may want to come more than once!

Free and open to the public.

ICA Harbor Market

25 Harbor Shore Drive
Sat, Dec 11, 11 AM – 4 PM

Looking for a holiday gift? The ICA Harbor Market is an artisan takeover brimming with local makers. Shop handmade goods, discover talented artisans, indulge with treats from the Sweet Ride Candy truck and catch a performance by acoustic duo Bookmatch.

Free and open to the public.
